Microarray
Microarrays are an important tool in understanding the expression levels of a gene in various conditions. Below are results from microarrays found using GEO profiles from the NCBI website.
Asthma Levels during convalascence and exacerbation
The results show an analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells of children with acute asthma during exacerbation (attack) and at subsequent convalescence (recovery). Severe asthma exacerbations in children are associated with viral infection and occur among atopics. In this analysis 8 out of 10 tests show an increased level of ADAM33 expression in the recovery stage.
Vitamin D and ADAM33 levels in Bronchial Smooth Muscles
Analysis of lungs from mice exposed to ultrafine carbon particles.
