Homology
The ADAM33 gene is conserved in dogs, cows, mice, rats, and chickens. Information can be viewed from the NCBI database. Analysis using the free versions of Clustal W, T-Coffee, and Muscle sequences could not be aligned because the sequence length exceeds base pair limits of the online software programs. However homologene was able to provide the percentage of gene identity preserved between the different species. For more information, please refer to the Homology produced using protein sequences here.
