Analysis
Similar homologs of the ADAM33 were found in many species. The reference sequence for the Rat was suppressed temporarily based on the calculation that the encoded protein was shorter than proteins from the putative ortholog from chicken, and thus was left out of the phylogeny tree. The tree shows similarity between Human, dog, cow, and mice with dogs and cows showing a higher homology of the ADAM33 protein.
